Hectic weekend galore!

Oye, I’m off to a rough start. I have done some reading the past couple of days, but nothing my gut says I should post about.

I read the first 2 Coffee Shop Girls books by Terry Towers. The main reason I read them was because of their short length. I had a little bit of time between errands, so they fit in with my schedule real nice.  As for the stories themselves, both The Cop and the Girl From the Coffee Shop and The Politician and the Girl From the Coffee Shop were sexy, but lacking reads. I felt there wasn’t enough details about the characters to feel attached in some way. I found both the heroes to be drool-worthy, but I sort of wish there was more story. That’s what I get for reading a short book.

I’m currently in a book funk. I can’t make up my mind which book to read. The only ones that seem appealing are books I have read at least twice before. I’ll blame it on my exhaustion from my new puppy.

My goal tonight is to pick a new book to read tomorrow evening. Hopefully I choose a winner! 😉

About Romantic Moments Book Blog

Lynnie is an avid reader with a soft spot for romance. Her addiction to all things lovey-dovey began when she was introduced to the black-haired, blue-eyed angel named Prince Eric at the age of 4. Once she realized she could never win his heart from Ariel, Lynnie aimed her sight on more realistic options, like Cory Matthews and the members of NSYNC. Now nearing her 30s, Lynnie is living her happily-ever-after in a small New England town. She shares her castle with her very own Prince Charming and their 2 (fur) babies. When she is not reading for pleasure, Lynnie is a freelance editor and writer.
