Rock and a Hard Place by Angie Stanton

Rock and a Hard Place is book 1 in Angie Stanton’s Jamieson Brothers series.  The series is meant for Young Adults, leaning towards New Adult.

I enjoyed reading Rock and a Hard Place.  I’m out of the age range, but I was still able to get pulled it.  I wish I had met a Peter as a teenager! I was drawn to Libby and felt so horrible for her situation.  As for Peter’s family, I hated Garret and was a bit annoyed that the parents didn’t think to investigate further into their son’s romantic relationship and see what was going on. I loved the ending, and was really hoping for more (and boy was I glad for the next book).

Overall I rated this book 3.5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend it for readers who love YA.

About Romantic Moments Book Blog

Lynnie is an avid reader with a soft spot for romance. Her addiction to all things lovey-dovey began when she was introduced to the black-haired, blue-eyed angel named Prince Eric at the age of 4. Once she realized she could never win his heart from Ariel, Lynnie aimed her sight on more realistic options, like Cory Matthews and the members of NSYNC. Now nearing her 30s, Lynnie is living her happily-ever-after in a small New England town. She shares her castle with her very own Prince Charming and their 2 (fur) babies. When she is not reading for pleasure, Lynnie is a freelance editor and writer.
